Rules of the Game

To participate in the Wally & Wimpy Football contest, contestants must register with Wally and Wimpy using the the registration entry form.

Employees (and their immediate families) of Lightpoint Publishing, Inc. are not eligible to win prizes.

Fill in all relevant data on the registration form so that we can award you a prize if you are lucky enough to win. This information is used for the purpose of contacting winners and delivery of prizes. Those winners with incomplete or inaccurate information may forfeit their prizes.

Upon completion of your registration you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and providing you with a password. To make your weekly selections, select the play option on our main page and log into the pick board. You will be required to enter your full e-mail address and password.

Once you have logged in, you will be presented a list of options. Clicking on the "Game Listing" option you will be presented with a list of game weeks currently available. Select the a week you wish to modify.

Make your predictions by checking the boxes next to the teams that you think will be the winning teams of the games listed. (Click inside to fill in the circle by the team you think will win.) Also fill in the tie breaker box by guessing the total number of points scored by West Virginia in that weekend's game (or by Marshall in the weeks when WVU is not playing.)

All weekly players will be ranked based on the number of correct perdications. In the event of tie, the following procedure will be used to determine the winners:
1. The entry with the closest approximation of the tie breaker number.
2. Random selection of the winner.
The top three ranking players will win prizes.

If a game is cancelled or there is an erroneous game listed, the entries will be judged according to the remaining correct listings.
